I kind of like the look of my blog, but I can’t help but notice that most blogs have that nice, clean institutional white background look. I kind of looking—and sounding—a little different than the burgeoning hordes of bloggers. Recently, a designer visited my site and then wrote a private not. Essentially, she said she was embarrassed for me because my blog look was well, so yesterday. Whatever, thought I? But not I’m feeling a bit insecure.
Should I ditch the khaki? OK. All you aggregators out there click on the blue link and take a look. I’ll let you the readers decide. Please comment, or if you wish to communicate tough love just discreetly email. If I were to make a real change to the site, I probably should ditch the photo. I’ve lost over 20 pounds since it was taken and am seen wearing a sports jacket only for funerals and court appearances.
For what its worth, I like the Khaki. Its very easy to read on my laptop and it looks classy.

The khaki is hideous but white and institutional is worse. Long live the Khaki!

I'd say keep it. It works. It's readable. I know where I'm at when I'm here.

Please, please ditch it. It's hard on my eyes. :-)

Angela,
By you email url, I assume you're a copy editor. Go figure. The vote is tipping toward keeping the Khacki, but the three voting to spike are one copy editor, one designer and one layout artist. Hmmm.
