Well, I called Steve Jobs ungracious, and a few of his admirers have given me a taste of what ungracious can really mean. I have deleted their comments. Let me restate my Comments policy: I call ot the Living Room Policy:
If you come in to my home and you are rude to me oir my guests. I will ask you to be more polite. If you persist in being rude, I will throw you out of my home and will not allow you back in to the house. If you begin with the clear intent of being offensive, you will be tossed out and banned without warning. I also take a dim view of anonymous comments. I am suspicious of people who take a position and will not demonstrate the courage to reveal who they are. I often just dump out those comments whenever I feel like it.
This does not mean that I don't welcome disagreement. People have taken me to task for a typo and for viewing the history of Jobs and Xerox Parc from a view they do not like. That's fine and those comments will stand. But if you're going to come onto this site with a spray paint can in your hand, you're out of here.
Oh my gosh! He said oir instead of or and ot instead of it! HE SHOULDN'T BE WRITING A BOOK - KILL HIM NOW!

Subhobroto,
I would be happy if you used my policy. It has been very useful in the past few days.
